Six weeks at eight to twelve hours a week, allocated to the published weights: origination activities and federal law first, then products, ethics and state content, with calculation drills daily and two timed mocks.
Most plans fail the same way. They start with federal law because it feels like the important part, spend three weeks there, and arrive at the exam having barely touched 76 percent of the paper.

Why origination first
Because it is the largest area at 27 percent, and because it is the sequence everything else hangs off.
Learning the Loan Estimate deadline before you know what an application is means memorizing a floating fact. Learn the loan first and the regulations attach to something.
Fifteen minutes a day rather than a block. They decay faster than anything else on the syllabus, and a block in week four will have faded by week six.
Practice questions from week two
Not at the end. Questions are how you find out whether you know something, and finding out in week six leaves no time to fix it.
Review every wrong answer properly: why the right one is right, and why the one you picked is wrong.
The two mocks
Full length, timed, no notes. The first in week five tells you where you stand. The second in week six tells you whether the fixes worked.
Book the exam when both clear 80 percent.
