Five and a half hours of testing. Plan for it physically as well as intellectually - it is longer than most people have concentrated on anything in years.
The books come with you
The approved references, tabbed with permanent index tabs and highlighted. They are checked at the door against the permitted list.
Loose notes are not permitted. Neither is anything written into a book beyond what the bulletin allows, so check the current rules rather than assuming.
Pacing
About 158 seconds a question. That is comfortable for a question you know and tight for one needing a lookup in a book you have not tabbed.
Take everything you can answer without opening a book first, marking the rest. That first pass is fast, banks a large number of marks, and tells you exactly how much time remains for the lookups.
No penalty for guessing
A wrong answer and a blank both score zero, so answer everything. With 34 wrong answers allowed there is no reason to leave anything empty.
Results
Pass or fail on screen at the end of the session, with a score report before you leave the center.
