1. Who you are dealing with

Sitonce provides the exam-preparation service described in these terms.

You can reach a person at [email protected]. That address is monitored and is the right place for every question in these terms - billing, refunds, access, complaints and data.

2. Agreeing to these terms

Using Sitonce means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

We may change these terms. If a change materially affects what you have already paid for, we will email everyone with active access before it takes effect, and you may ask for a refund of the unused part of your access instead of accepting it. Every version carries the date it last changed at the top of the page.

3. Your account

You sign in through an identity provider - Google, Microsoft, Apple or WeChat. We never see or hold a password for you.

An account is for one person. Sharing a sign-in, or giving anyone else access to paid content, is a breach of these terms and we may end your access without a refund if you do it.

4. What you are buying

Paying for an exam gives you a personal, non-transferable right to use that exam's course for 12 months from the day you pay: the lessons, the question bank, the explanations, the mock papers and your own progress record. Buying again while access is live adds another 12 months on top of whatever is left rather than replacing it.

The free tier - the diagnostic, one full mock paper per account, your score and your topic breakdown - is free and stays free. What you pay for is which questions you got wrong and why.

We add questions and rewrite lessons during your access period and you get all of it at no extra cost. We may also remove a question we no longer stand behind. The size of the bank on the day you bought is not a promise about the size of the bank tomorrow, in either direction.

5. Price and payment

The price is shown before you pay, in the currency shown. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card number.

Prices may change. A change never affects access you have already bought.

6. Refunds

You can request a full refund within 7 calendar days of payment if you have completed no more than 20% of the paid lesson steps and answered no more than 20% of the distinct paid practice questions for that exam, counted separately; have not downloaded its paid study-guide PDF; and have started no more than one paid mock exam. Email [email protected] from the address on your account and identify the exam. You do not need to give a reason.

The free mock available before purchase does not count toward the paid-mock limit. Starting a second paid mock or downloading the paid study guide closes the ordinary refund window. Once a refund is processed, access to that purchase ends. Your payment provider controls when the credit appears on your statement.

After 7 days the ordinary refund window ends, but your access still runs its full 12 months. Contact us about a duplicate charge, the wrong course, a material description error or a technical failure we cannot remedy; we will review these separately.

If we withdraw an exam from sale while you have live access to it, we refund the unused part without being asked.

None of this limits any right you have under consumer law where you live.

7. What you may not do

The question bank and the lessons are the product. You may not copy, republish, resell, or redistribute any part of them, and you may not scrape the service or use automated tools to extract content from it.

You may not use Sitonce content to build or train a competing product, including as training data for a model.

You may not attempt to reach content you have not paid for, interfere with the service, or test its security without our written permission. Reporting a vulnerability you have found in the ordinary course of using the site is welcome and is not a breach of this clause.

What you write and the record of what you answered are yours. Everything else on the site is ours or our licensors’.

8. Whose exam this is

Sitonce is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any awarding body, regulator or examination provider, and the names of those bodies are used only to identify the examinations we prepare people for.

Nothing on Sitonce is legal, financial, engineering or other professional advice. It is preparation for an examination.

9. Accuracy, and what we do not promise

We cite the source behind every explanation and we say which version of a syllabus we are working from, with the date it came into force. We check the perishable facts - fees, sitting dates, pass marks - against the awarding body and show you when each was last checked.

Even so, syllabuses change, awarding bodies publish corrections, and we make mistakes. Verify anything that matters against the awarding body before you rely on it. If you find something wrong, tell us at [email protected] and we will fix it and say so.

We do not promise that you will pass. No preparation product can, and one that says otherwise is telling you something it cannot know.

10. Availability

We aim to keep Sitonce available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take it down for maintenance, and parts of it depend on other companies - an identity provider, a payment processor, a hosting provider - whose outages are outside our control.

If a fault of ours makes the service unusable for a meaningful stretch of your access period, email us and we will extend your access to make up for it.

11. Ending it

You can stop using Sitonce whenever you like, and you can have your account and your data deleted by emailing [email protected]. Deleting your account does not by itself refund a purchase; section 6 is what decides that.

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, and will tell you why. Where the breach is something you can put right, we will say so and give you the chance to.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our total liability to you for anything arising out of your use of Sitonce is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

We are not liable for an examination result, for a job or a licence you did not get, or for money you spent on examination fees.

13. Questions and complaints

Before anything else, email [email protected]. Almost everything is faster to fix that way.

Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under the consumer law of the place you live.
