The fee is written into a state rule rather than set by the vendor, which is why it has not moved since 2019 and why you can check it yourself.

What a retake costs
USD 32.50, and only for the subtest you failed. You may retake a failed examination once at least thirty days have elapsed since the previous administration of it, and you may not retake one you have passed. A pass you already hold does not expire, so nothing you have banked is at risk while you resit.
One failed subtest therefore costs a quarter of what a fresh sitting of the whole battery would cost. That is unusually mild. Plenty of licensing exams make you buy the entire paper again.
The cheapest outcome is not sitting it at all
Before you pay anything, check whether you already hold a score that satisfies the requirement. Rule 6A-4.0021(12) accepts qualifying GRE, SAT, ACT and CLT scores subtest by subtest, and one SAT section score can cover three of the four. What the fee does not cover
Preparation. Nothing is bundled with the registration, and no Florida teacher preparation program examines this test in-house, so whatever you use to study is a separate decision and a separate cost.
Rule 6A-4.0021 provides military testing fee waivers, and states that fees for retake examinations may not be waived. The waiver covers the first attempt at an examination, not the second.
